How have you been?

It's been a while... a long while!

Well, I've been busy, and work got in the way of blogging. It's been almost 4 years since I have gone back to working full time! With all that busy-ness going on, I still make cards once in a while. I will post photos (in my next blog entries) of cards I made in the last four years ... at least those that I was able to take a photo of!

I have been on and off being a Stampin' Up demonstrator due to work and family duties. I am currently off work and will be taking a bit of a break.

Girls Night In Fundraising

What an enjoyable Sunday I had! Spent the afternoon making cards and having fun for a cause. My lovely friend from my son's school hosted a Girls Night In fundraising event where we get to make beautiful cards and a 3D item plus there was a Body Shop pampering corner (which I missed because I think I spent a lot of time admiring all of the cards on display! hihi) which I think was really cool. The house was so sweet smelling after all the pampering the ladies had.

My First Stampin' Up Workshop

I held my first Stampin' Up! workshop last weekend! Hooray! Thank you very much to Belen (the lady in red), my wonderful host for the day. It might not be my perfect first workshop (I'm still learning the ropes!), but hey, it was heaps of fun! Thanks for my lovely friends who spent that wonderful afternoon making cards with me. Stampin’ Up! ® Thank you card sample

I made this simple and pretty card (found in the Samples with Stampin' Up ®)  in my workshop demo last Sunday. Its' really very fast and easy to make! This card is to be given to my lovely friend for the book she let me borrow for my exam.

Materials used:
Cardstock: (smooth) Real Red, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight
Designer Series Paper: Brights Collection Real Red
Stamp: Easy Events
Others: Markers, Ribbon, Dimensionals and Double-sided tape
